About Al Taylor

Al Taylor specialises in the law relating to publishing, the internet, and commerce generally.

He trained as a solicitor with Mayer Brown LLP in the City of London, and subsequently worked for Manches LLP in Oxford. During his career he has advised publishers, printers, authors, literary estates and others involved in the publishing industry.

Al holds degrees from the University of Essex, the University of Nottingham and the University of London. He also holds postgraduate legal qualifications from Nottingham Law School and the Univeristy of Bristol. His legal articles and notes have been widely published. He currently teaches a course in Digital Publishing Law at the Publishing Training Centre in London.
