For over a decade, I have specialised in the law relating to publishing, the internet, IT and commerce generally.
I trained as a solicitor with Mayer Brown LLP in the City of London, and subsequently worked for Manches LLP in Oxford.
During my time at both Mayer Brown and Manches, I advised publishers, printers, authors, literary estates and others involved in the publishing industry on a wide range of publishing-related legal issues.

l hold degrees from the University of Essex, the University of Nottingham and the University of London, and also postgraduate legal qualifications from Nottingham Law School and the University of Bristol. I've also studied law at the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen, and I'm currently studying computing part time at Oxford Brookes University.
My articles, case reports and reviews have been published in a variety of journals. I currently teach a course in Digital Publishing Law at the Publishing Training Centre in London.
