We supply template contracts and other legal documents for use by publishers and others involved in publishing.

The templates available on this website include a range of author agreements. Editor agreements, contributor agreements and other specialist publishing agreements, as well as a range of more general commercial contracts, will be added in the near future.

Each contract has been drafted by a lawyer with expertise in publishing law and years of experience advising clients in the industry.

The templates are for the most part in plain English, avoiding most of the usual legal gobbledygook.

They also come with extensive footnotes to help you create the perfect contract for your business or deal.

Downloading Templates

If you find a template that you need, you should add it to your shopping cart and then proceed to the checkout. Once you have completed our checkout form, you will be transferred to the Protx website to tender payment. Payment may be made by credit or debit card, or using a PayPal account.

Accepted cards include Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, American Express, Solo and Maestro.

After payment has been received, you will be sent an email containing a link to your document. You should download the document within 72 hours of receiving the email.
